Rambles, the tree-lined promenade running through the heart of the
old Gothic Quarter.

Travel to Berlin
- After a fifty-year lull, Berlin is back – back as the capital of a
reunified Germany and back as one of Europe’s greatest cities. After
World War II, Berlin was a crippled pawn, sandwiched between East
and West, with a literal and metaphoric wall deeply dividing the two
halves. The northeastern German city even suffered the ignominy of
losing its capital status, as the West German government fled to
Bonn.
Travel to Brussels - Brussels is home to the
headquarters of the EU and is a major centre for international
relations, industry and trade. It also boasts some fabulous
historical sites, grand buildings and, of course, plenty of famous
Belgium beer.

most beautiful capitals of the Central European region and one of

Travel to Hong Kong - Despite the obvious
love of shopping and eating, the perpetually crowded streets, glitzy
neon lights and hard-core work ethic, it can all be put into context
when you consider that the most expensive houses and powerful banks
could not be planned without close consultation with the feng shui
master. Look at the elegant sharp angles of the Bank of China
building, or the high-tech iconic HSBC in Central, then realize that
their exact location was plotted with due consideration to keeping
the spirits and dragons happy.
Travel to
Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia gives a
glimpse of colorful heritage and a taste of traditional, exotic Asia
with rocket like Petronas Towers soaring high, massive shopping

gets lively with Malay, Chinese and Indian hawkers selling tempting
dishes.
Travel to London
- London is a cosmopolitan mixture of the Third and First Worlds, of
chauffeurs and beggars, of the establishment, the avowedly working class and
the avant-garde. Unlike comparable European cities, much of London looks
unplanned and grubby, but that is part of its appeal. Visiting London is
like being let loose on a giant-sized Monopoly board clogged with traffic.
Even though you probably won't know where you are exactly, the names will at
least look reassuringly familiar. The city is so enormous, visitors will
need to make maximum use of the underground train system: unfortunately,
this dislocates the city's geography and makes it hard to get your bearings.
Doing some traveling by bus helps fit the city together.

Venice has occupied writers for centuries. It is the city’s
other-worldly, fairy-tale quality that attracts, keeping visitors

full of flashing plastic gondolas and the serried ranks of nylon
football shirts on stalls around the Rialto – can really tarnish the
romantic dream.

Travel to Spain - Spain has been a favorite
playground of British, Dutch, and German tourists who escape the
dreary climates of their own countries for some summer sun by the
sea, with copious quantities of sex, and sangria stirred in for good
measure. Quite a cocktail for the 18-30 crowd. For the culturally
inclined there is plenty of that too. Hemingway made bullfighting
popular in America literature, but these are all clichés. Of course
you'll want to have paella on the coast, and Spain wouldn't be the
same without a little flamenco dancing and intricate guitar. After a
few days, you'll even be an expert on the castanets yourself.

Travel to Taiwan - True to it's Portuguese name
- "Il ha de Formosa", which translates into "beautiful island",
Taiwan offers tourists not only affordable travel with great weather

Asian cuisine. Traveling in Taiwan soon leaves the visitor astounded
with the amount of cultural -and natural diversity packed into such
a limited geographical space. Driving from North to South (Keeling
to Henchman Peninsula), its northern and southernmost tip, is
possible within a day. You'd drive past emerald-peaked mountains,
long stretches of coast, slumbering hamlets, bustling 24 hour
cities, rice fields and harbors, but this would not do justice to
what Taiwan offers.
